A STEM program would be great, but where to start? Curriculum? Resources? Staff??

This session identifies the journey that St Leonard’s college took from 2015 to now and how we went about building a rich middle year (grade 5 to year 10) program that covers the fundamentals of STEM, including how we overcame staffing, resources, timetabling and curriculum issues.

Rather than a how-to guide this session is an example of a STEM program that is very much still evolving. We will also be discussing our co-curricular program and how that has supported our philosophy in delivering a STEM program. This session is suitable for secondary and later primary schools (grade 5 and 6).
