Combining maker ideas and philosophies with traditional classroom practice has created a vibrant and enthusiastic program for Year 5 students at The Geelong College. Titled “Designing the Future” students are immersed in a program that promotes creativity, collaboration, innovation and reflection. With 3 teachers to work with, students work on craft, coding, engineering, robotics and programming projects that foster curiosity and allow students to be the creators of the future.
