The use of visual programming in the Digital Technologies Curriculum is introduced for all students in levels 3 to 6.
This hands on session is for teachers exploring visual programming platforms, programming environments, various apps and resources. Programming concepts, computational thinking, and the problem solving methodology of analysing, designing, developing and evaluating will be unpacked as well as approaches to teaching this area of the curriculum. This session is aimed at teachers at levels 3-6 however it is suitable for all teachers F-6.
Teachers will need to bring a computer or tablet with Internet capability.
