Anthony Speranza is a Certified Google for Education Trainer and Innovator, and the 2014 DLTV Educator of the Year as awarded by Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria. He is passionate about contemporary spaces, pedagogies, and collaborative practises amongst educators.
During his time at St. Mark’s he established several digital literacy initiatives, developed cybersafety programs, and introduced a range of technologies for learning across the school.
Recently he completed a small scale research project involving 1:1 classrooms whilst studying his Masters Degree in Education (ICT). Currently he is implementing a 1:1 Chromebook and BYO mobile device program in the middle and senior years, and is supporting teachers and students from Foundation to Year 6 to utilise a range of technologies, including Google Apps For Education.
Anthony has consulted with a range of schools and aims to bring the best out of organisations for transformational change. He is an avid speaker and facilitator at the local, national and international level.
