Josh Caratelli is an award winning game developer and at 19 is already beginning to make his mark in his industry. He earned his first XBOX and PlayStation game credit at fifteen and recently in-between studies launched the eco-friendly ‘Smog Game’ onto the App Store through his own registered company.
He has represented Australia internationally at trade shows, and was named an Australian Triple J 25 Under 25 winner and also as an honourable mention in game development internationally apart of Develop’s 30 Under 30.
Passionate for positive change in STEM diversity, Josh has helped establish a STEM scholarship through accrued prize money and has spoken at events such as PAX, Apple Store Sydney and regularly to media on the topics of STEM and getting into coding games.
Josh’s interest lies in the convergence of games and education. Right now he is excitedly cutting code as a Junior Programmer at Big Ant Studios and studying Computer Science at RMIT University.
