Nathan is a strong advocate and believer in the power of technology to deepen and enhance student learning. He has taught across Years 5-11 in Victorian Primary and Secondary Schools for the past 14 years in a variety of roles. Throughout he has led several 1-to-1 technology initiatives, utilising a range of devices from iPads to notebook computers.
Since 2013 Nathan has been leading the Classroom of the Future Project at Charles La Trobe P-12
College. This is a collaboration between Charles La Trobe P-12 College, Intel and the Victorian
Department of Education and Training. The project has explored the impact of a number of
technologies on student learning, teacher capacity and whole school change processes. In 2015
Nathan was made an inaugural Intel Education Visionary and in 2016 was selected as a Microsoft
Innovative Educator Expert.
