Simon Perry (@sperry10) is the Principal of Woolsthorpe Primary School and an Educational Leader who likes to Rethink Learning Design and Leadership in todays world. Simon is an Apple Distinguished Educator, connected globally through the Apple Institute program. He uses Twitter extensively to learn and connect with leading practitioners all over the world. Simon has led and partnered with Deakin University and local government on numerous localised conferences, projects and professional learning opportunities for students, parents and teachers in South Western Victorian schools. Simon in collaboration with another local Principal, started the inaugural Student Leaders Congress in Warrnambool, designed to make a difference in the local community while developing future student leaders. Prior to his Principal position at Woolsthorpe he was a teacher, cluster educator and worked in the Department of Education and Training as an e-learning coach. He is currently the Executive Chair of the Warrnambool Principals Network and have extensive personal networks in the local area with key partners in local government, business, educational sectors and industry.
