This industry partner workshop explores Premiere Rush, a simple to use video production tool from Adobe that allows teachers and students to use their phone, tablet device or their laptop/desktop to capture and edit moving and still images as well as audio to help tell a video story or share an idea in an engaging and creative way. It is a step up from Adobe Spark Video but nowhere near as complex as Adobe Premiere Pro.

With so many classes happening online, Video literacy has become more important than ever and when we do get back to face to face teaching, video is such a great way to communicate. This online workshop by Dr Tim Kitchen from Adobe will go through the process of making a video story with Premiere Rush. To make the most of this session, go to your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on your laptop and download Premiere Rush or ask your IT support to load it for you. Otherwise, you can download the mobile version via the Apple &/or Google Play Store.

Who Should Attend?

  • Primary and Secondary teachers looking for simple, powerful digital tools for themselves and their students.
