Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria (DLTV) is pleased to announce a new professional association partnership with MITIE (Managing ICT in Education), with MITIE joining as DLTV's Gold Association Partner.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting educators, digital learning leaders and ICT professionals across Australia and New Zealand through collaboration, professional learning and community.

As schools continue to navigate challenges and opportunities including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy, digital transformation and the effective use of technology for learning, the connection between digital learning and ICT leadership has never been more important. Together, DLTV and MITIE aim to strengthen these connections and provide opportunities for members to learn from one another throughout the year.

Beginning with DigiCon 2026, this partnership will extend conversations well beyond the conference, providing educators with access to an established professional network where they can ask questions, share experiences, exchange ideas and connect with colleagues working through similar challenges.

    About MITIE

MITIE (Managing ICT in Education) is a free professional network for school leaders, ICT professionals and digital learning leaders working with technology in schools across Australia and New Zealand.

    Membership provides access to:

    • An active online professional community
    • The Digital Learning discussion group
    • Professional events and networking opportunities
    • A broad network of education technology professionals across Australia and New Zealand

DLTV is excited to welcome MITIE as a professional association partner and looks forward to building a long-term relationship that benefits both communities.

Educators are encouraged to join the MITIE community and become part of the conversation.

DLTV is excited to announce a partnership with the Australian Association of Special Education Victoria Chapter to provide a series of regional 'DigiTech for Diverse Learners' workshops supported by Google.

We are grateful to Google who, thanks to their CS Educator PD Grants, has provided funding so that we can host 2-4 workshops across Victoria at no charge. These workshops will focus on how to use technology, incorporate the Digital Technologies curriculum (including coding and robotics), and provide hands-on practice to cater for the diverse abilities of learners. These workshops will focus on Victorian Curriculum Levels A-D and F-6 but all educators are welcome to attend.

Please watch this space as we announce workshop locations and dates (for Term 3 and Term 4, 2019). And thanks again to Google for supporting this partnership between DLTV and AASE Victoria.
